Spotting Opportunities
Do you aspire to bring a world-changing technology to market? Are you looking to understand what makes for a good idea? Or do you want to know if the idea you have is a promising opportunity? Then this is a program designed just for you.
Spotting commercially promising opportunities is difficult, otherwise everyone would be doing it. Equally, understanding the value of an idea is very hard without past commercial experience to benchmark against. Over this one day program, we introduce the tools we use to analyse the world, and how we help founders to identify and validate exciting opportunities for innovation.

The Spark program was extremely engaging and highly informative. The Spin Up speakers knew their audience, kept a dynamic pace, and pitched everything at the right level. This was by far the best skills program I've attended, and I'll definitely be attending more in the future.
Emily Meads,
Deep Tech Analyst, Speed Invest
I found the workshop really helpful. It presented a broad range of considerations that need to be taken into account when starting a spin-out company. Many of the ideas and concepts presented were new to me and I would not have otherwise been aware of them. It has certainly peaked my interest in starting a spin-out and I'm now keen to further explore the idea.
